Sometimes it’s hard to look at the stars we’ve come to love and picture their lives before they made it big. Jason Aldean is sharing what his life was like before he became a country sensation.
In a new book titled Family, Friends and Fans, Aldean opens up about his rise to the top. He discusses his school days, wanting to become a professional baseball player, and of course, being discovered by producer Michael Knox.
“Jason looks back at the things that brought him where he is today, and that continue to shape his future. With wisdom, warmth and humor, Jason shares recollections he derived from people with whom he has bonded during his life and career,” a press release reads.
The book is written with the help of Tom Carter, who is also responsible for books by Reba McEntire, Glen Campbell, Tammy Wynette, and LeAnn Rimes.
All this comes as Aldean prepares to celebrate a new chapter in his life, he and his wife Brittany Kerr are expecting their first child together. He is also the father of two daughters, Kendyl, 10, and Keeley, 14, from a previous marriage.
