Brad Paisley honored country icon Glen Campbell by calling for a cure for Alzheimer’s.
In an Instagram post, the “Today” artist called to end Alzheimer’s “once and for all.”
“Alzheimer’s is a thief. And although it may rob someone of their memories, it cannot touch their legacy,” Paisley wrote. “And what a legacy you leave behind Mr. Campbell. Let’s figure this disease out once and for all. In memory of Glen.”
Earlier in the week Paisley took to Twitter to thank Campbell for the “artistry, grace and class” he brought to country music.
Thank you @GlenCampbell for the artistry, grace & class you brought to country music. You were a shining light in so many ways.—
