For 25 consecutive weeks Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road” has sat atop Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart, setting a new record.
The record was previously held by country duo Florida Georgia Line who saw their single “Cruise” hold the top spot for 24 consecutive weeks in 2013.
“Body Like A Back Road” is the first single from Hunt’s highly-anticipated sophomore album. However, that album may not arrive any time soon as the 32-year-old artist recently revealed he is taking a step back from music and has no timeline set for its release.
Hunt’s latest single is the third most-downloaded song of 2017 in all genres and the most-downloaded in country music. It has been streamed 261 million times, according to Taste of Country, and was recently certified triple-platinum.
Hunt’s 15 In A 30 Tour with Maren Morris and Chris Janson will stop at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey on September 15.
