By: Greg Sacidor

Zac Brown and his band were in town this past weekend (July 14 and 15) for two shows at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey. During their visit Brown and the band took some time to visit with a local fan who couldn’t attend the shows due to an injury.

Thomas Schoettle is currently in the hospital rehabbing following an awful accident. Due to the nature of his injury, Schoettle was unable to attend the band’s Friday night show like he had planned to.

Since Schoettle could not go see the band, his family arranged for the band to come see him. Schoettle’s mother Samantha posted videos from the visit on social media.

Along with Schoettle, Brown also took the time to pose for a photo with members of the Malvern Fire Company who helped secure the landing zone for Brown’s helicopter at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital where Schoettle is currently staying.

There is currently a GoFundMe page setup to help pay for Schoettle’s medical bills.
