Lady Antebellum is ready for some Dirty Dancing.
The cult classic ’80s film Dirty Dancing is being remade for television and the trio known as Lady Antebellum are lending their collective voices to the made-for-television film’s soundtrack.
Lady A has recorded “Hey Baby,” a song which appeared on the original film’s soundtrack thanks to Bruce Channel.
The Dirty Dancing remake will be a three-hour event that honors the film’s 30th anniversary. It will air later this month and star Abigail Breslin, Debra Messing, Katey Sagal and Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland.
“Hey Baby” is of course just part of the collection of new music the country trio has been working on. Their new album Heart Break, featuring hit single “You Look Good,” is set to be released on June 9.
Later that month, Lady Antebellum will visit our area with all their new music and perform at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey on June 23.
