Earlier this week, Carrie Underwood did the honors and performed the National Anthem before the Nashville Predators’ playoff game. Thursday (April 20) night, it was Luke Bryan’s turn and he did not disappoint.
Prior to game four of the NHL playoff series between the Nashville Predators and the Chicago Blackhawks, country superstar Luke Bryan took to the ice to perform the National Anthem. Just like his fellow country superstar Underwood, Bryan, who was decked out in a custom number 10 jersey with his name across the back, delivered an incredible performance.
Bryan was not the only country artist who attended Thursday’s game, as he was joined by his ACM Awards co-host Dierks Bentley. The two posed for a picture together as they both wore light-up cowboy hats.
Like Underwood did earlier this week, Bryan brought some good luck to the Nashville based hockey team. The Predators defeated the favored Blackhawks 4-1, sweeping their first round playoff series.
Underwood, whose husband Mike Fisher is the captain of the Predators, thanked Bryan for “revving” up the team. “Awesome job on the anthem, @LukeBryanOnline” she wrote on social media. “Thanks for revving our boys up for the game!”
