In 2016, “T-Shirt” meant a number one platinum single for Thomas Rhett. Today, “T-Shirt” means something different, something more powerful for the 27-year-old country artist.
Thomas Rhett has partnered with the philanthropic apparel company Project 615 to launch a new t-shirt benefiting the organization 147 Million Orphans.
The red shirt features the words “home team,” the name of Rhett’s first headlining tour, on the front and all profits from the sale of the shirts will go to help the organization.
In celebration of our two sold out HomeTOWN #HomeTeamTour shows in Nashville, @project615 and I teamed up to create an exclusive #HomeTeam T for y’all, available for the next two weeks at project615.org [bio].100% of the profits will benefit @147million! Limited quantities will be available at BOTH Nashville shows, can’t wait to see y’all in red supporting your neighbors AND the 147 kids #promoted
147 Million Orphans is a group that provides the critical needs of children impacted by the orphan crisis and living in poverty. They provide these children with food, water, medicine and even shelter. Rhett and his wife Lauren have a special connection to the organization as they are currently going through the process of adopting a child from Africa.
If you are interested in purchasing a shirt, you don’t have much time. The shirts will only be sold through April 28.
