Being a member of the famed Grand Ole Opry is an honor unlike any other in country music and Tuesday (April 12) marked the fifth anniversary of Keith Urban’s induction.
The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” artist celebrated his big day with a special performance at the iconic venue. The Opry shared a number of photos from the evening and even a throwback video from the night of Urban’s induction.
Urban was invited to become a member of the Opry back in April of 2012 when Vince Gill surprised him with the invitation during a benefit concert. He was later officially inducted by Trace Adkins and Josh Turner.
Urban is one of only 63 artists who are currently an Opry member.
