By: Greg Sacidor

Jason Aldean has undoubtedly found his fair share of success throughout his career, but the “Lights Come On’ artist says now is the time when he has begun to appreciate things even more.

“The more I am around, the more I appreciate the things that happen” Aldean 92.5 XTU’s Razz on the Radio. He added that he is “enjoying” things now and just “having fun” with it.

One thing Aldean is definitely having fun with at the moment is social media. The 40-year-old artist credits his wife Brittany, who will join him on the red carpet at Sunday’s ACM Awards, for stepping up his social media game.

At this year’s awards Aldean will look to repeat as Entertainer of the Year. He said winning the award last year was “so cool’ and he is excited to have another crack at it.

Repeating will not be easy for Aldean as this year the field for Entertainer of the Year includes his hunting buddy Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

The 52nd ACM Awards will air Sunday, April 2 only on CBS3.
