Every artist can remember those “big moments” in their career and for Dustin Lynch one of those came right here in Philadelphia.
When country icon Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood took over Philadelphia for a weekend in March, Dustin Lynch had the honor of opening for one of their shows. The 31-year-old artist called the moment a “big’ one for him and his career, but one that he had to keep a secret.
Lynch told 92.5 XTU’s Razz on the Radio that he remembers getting the call where he was asked to open for Brooks. Lynch said he started laughing when asked because he thought to himself “of course I would love too.”
Opening for Brooks and Yearwood may not be a one off thing for Lynch. He said he may get the opportunity to do it again some time soon.
Lynch will join Brad Paisley on tour this summer. The two will stop at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey on Friday, May 19.
