Darius Rucker Makes It Rain Purple At London’s Famed O2 Arena

By: Greg Sacidor

It’s no secret Darius Rucker is a Prince fan, so whenever he covers the legendary artist’s “Purple Rain” it is always a treat; especially when it comes from inside one of the world’s most famous arenas.

Rucker is over traveling the UK with a number of other country artists as part of the Country to Country Festival. During his stop in London, England, at the famed O2 Arena, Rucker broke out his own version of Prince’s all-time great track.

While Rucker’s vocals were what made this great, the performance was only enhanced by the purple lighting that accompanied the “If I Told You” artist.

What. A. Night. Thank you London!! Time to wrap it all up in Dublin. Light it up!
