Zac Brown Band’s latest single “My Old Man” is a song that almost anyone can relate to and that’s why it was a perfect choice for NASCAR’s tribute to racing legend Dale Earnhardt.
Prior to this year’s Daytona 500 (February 26), NASCAR released a tribute video to racing legend Dale Earnhardt that featured footage from the career of both he and his son Dale Earnhardt Jr. In just over two minutes, it details the special relationship both Earnhardts had with each other.
The video, which will make anyone’s heart warm, drew tears from Earnhardt Jr. After it was shared online, he wrote that the video made his eyeballs “sweat.”
“My Old Man” is off of Zac Brown Band’s upcoming album Welcome Home. It will be the group’s seventh studio album and it is expected to be released on May 12.
Zac Brown Band will return to the Philadelphia area this summer on July 14 and 15.
Dale Earnhardt Sr. tragically died following a wreck at the Daytona 500 back in 2001.
