Keith Urban Has Nothing On This Teenage Girl

The contestants on The Voice may not be her only competition. So to may be Keith Urban.

During the premiere of The Voice‘s 12th season, a 14-year-old California girl named Brennley Brown wowed not only the crowd, but also the judges with here performance of Keith Urban’s 2006 song “Stupid Boy.”

An aspiring artist who has been influenced by the likes of Willie Nelson, Faith Hill and Merle Haggard, Brown had her choice of coaches.

Both Alicia Keys and country superstar Blake Shelton did their best to make their case for why Brown should join their team with Keys attempting to use the girl power card and Shelton attempting to use the country artist card.

After he told her that he has never been a guest artist at a country concert like Keys because he is the country concert, Brown decided to join Team Blake.

Season 12 of The Voice is now underway with Shelton’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine joining both Keys and Shelton as coaches.
