There is always time for some “Tennessee Whiskey.”
This past weekend, country group Little Big Town took to the stage at the famed Ryman Auditorium and they were not alone. During their set, Little Big Town was joined by country star Chris Stapleton who performed his ACM nominated song “Tennessee Whiskey.”
For much of the performance, Stapleton did his own thing as Little Big Town watched in awe. However, there were a few moments where the country group jumped in to add their own touch to the song.
“Tennessee Whiskey” is nominated for Song of the Year at April’s 52nd ACM Awards. It will go up against Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man,” Tim McGraw’s “Humble And Kind,” Eric Church’s “Kill A Word” and Miranda Lambert’s “Vice.”
Stapleton has also been nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year (“Fire Away”), while Little Big Town has been nominated for Vocal Group of the Year.
The 52nd ACM Awards will air live Sunday, April 2 only on CBS3.
