Grammy Award winner Maren Morris is headed to the small screen.
On Tuesday, February 14, the 26-year-old country singer will make a cameo appearance on the television series NCIS: New Orleans. In an episode titled “Pandora’s Box II,” Morris will play herself and will perform her hit single “My Church.”
Her appearance on the show continues an incredible few days for Morris. This past Sunday (February 12) she took home the Best Country Solo Performance award for “My Church” at the 59th annual Grammys.
Morris was also nominated for three other awards (Best New Artist, Best Country Album and Best Country song) and took to the stage for a performance with previous Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys.
Earlier this month, the “My Church” singer performed in Philadelphia as part of her headlining Hero Tour. She will return to our area with Sam Hunt and his 15 In A 30 Tour on September 15.
Along with Morris, tonight’s episode will see NCIS agents McGee and Torress travel to New Orleans to partner with Pride and his team in search for a missing homeland security theoretical terror playbook.
NCIS: New Orleans featuring Maren Morris will air Tuesday, February 14 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS3. Our very own Razz will then join CBS3’s Eyewitness News at 11 to talk about the rising country star.
