If you have given a listen to Lady Antebellum’s new single “You Look Good,” then you have definitely heard the creative use of horns that give the song its sound. Well, if you wondering how the horns got into the song in the first place, look no further than Hillary Scott.
According to One Country, Charles Kelley revealed that his fellow Lady Antebellum member Hillary Scott was the one who wanted to implement the use of horns into the song. In fact, according to Kelley, Scott “begged” for them.
“There’s something so cool about horns and how they transport you to another place” Scott said. “We just felt that the energy of this song lent itself to it.”
The group announced their return after a brief hiatus earlier this month with the release of “You Look Good.” In addition to their latest single, Lady Antebellum announced their upcoming tour, which features a stop in Philadelphia.
