Prior to the start of the 59th Daytona 500, Lady Antebellum will help get things started with a performance at a pre-race show.
“The Great American Race will have one of today’s great American country music acts front-and-center for our fans to enjoy” said Chip Wile, Speedway President. “Lady Antebellum continues a long standing DIS (Daytona International Speedway) tradition of attracting major stars from the world of entertainment to the World Center of Racing and the Daytona 500.”
This will not mark the first time the country trio has performed at the Daytona International Speedway. In fact, they have performed there twice prior.
Last week, the group announced their return with a brand new single “You Look Good.” They also announced that their sixth studio album Heart Break will be released in June and that they would also be headed out on tour this year, including a stop here in the Philadelphia area.
The Daytona 500, which is the opening race of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season, will take place on Sunday, February 26.
