Philadelphia Area Dogs To Participate In Puppy Bowl

By: Greg Sacidor

Yes, we all know that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is from Exton, Pennsylvania and went to high schPreviewool at Penn Charter, but this is not the only connection the Philadelphia area will have to Super Bowl Sunday.

On February 5, two dogs from local shelters will participate in Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl.

The first is from Center City’s Morris Animal Refuge. His name is Max and he is a 13-week-old Pit Bull mix.

The other is Wilma, a 16-week-old Shi Tzu mix from New Life Animal Rescue in Marlton, New Jersey.

Both dogs will be on Team Fluff at Puppy Bowl XIII. This year’s game will air on Animal Planet on February 5 at 3 p.m.
