Luke Bryan is headed to the Super Bowl.

On Sunday (January 22), the country superstar announced that he will be performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LI.
In a social media post, Bryan thanked the NFL for “this opportunity of a lifetime.”
The “Move” singer will be the first male to perform the National Anthem at the Super Bowl since 2007, when Billy Joel performed it at Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Florida.
Super Bowl LI will take place on February 5 in Houston, Texas. It will feature the New England Patriots taking on the Atlanta Falcons.
