Every family has their holiday traditions, for Carrie Underwood and her family, that tradition is traveling.
With the holidays quickly approaching, Carrie Underwood revealed to People that traveling may be one of her family’s biggest traditions. “We will be spending Christmas with Mike’s family in Canada” she said. “Then I’ll probably go to Oklahoma to see my family.”
The “Church Bells” singer said that some of her friends have told her one day she will just want to stay home for the holidays, but Underwood doesn’t think that will be the case. She said that this tradition belongs to her and her husband’s families and “it’s important for us to get back there.”
Along with traveling to see family for the holidays, Underwood is also traveling for a number of shows and appearances before the holidays even get underway. As a result of always being on the road, Underwood admitted that she will probably not bring out all of the decorations this year. However, her home will definitely have a tree because as she said “You have to have a tree.”
