Garth Brooks and Kenny Chesney are two of the more popular names in country music and now they are among the highest-paid as well.
Forbes just released their list of the 30 highest-paid musicians of 2016. During their scoring period, Brooks and Chesney combined to bring in a total of $126 million.
Brooks was the highest ranking country artist on the list, as he came in sixth place with a total of $70 million earned this past year. Chesney tied pop star Justin Bieber for 13th place after he brought in a reported $56 million.
Only two other country artists managed to crack the top-30 of Forbes‘ list. They were Luke Bryan and Toby Keith.
Bryan made a reported $53 million this past year from his Kill The Lights Tour and his endorsement deals with Miller Lite and Cabelas. Thanks to his own tour, his own ventures and his endorsement deal with Ford, Keith was able to earn a reported total of $47.5 million in 2016.
Former country star turned pop singer Taylor Swift’s $170 million earned led to her easily taking hold of the list’s top spot.
