2016 Survivor Celebration: A Caregiver Even During A Time Fighting

It was April of 2014 when Mary Ann Dorn was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time of her diagnosis, Dorn was serving as the primary caregiver of her husband, who was in the late stages of early onset Alzheimer’s.

While she was going through her treatments, Dorn continued to take care of┬áher husband. As her daughter Terri says “she never asked for help, never complained.”

Currently Dorn is still going through treatments. Her daughter says she always will, as the cancer has spread to her bones.

Right now everything is stable for Dorn and she is thankful for that.

Let’s celebrate Mary Ann Dorn!
