Wednesday night Eldredge made the decision to skip one of the biggest nights in country music, the 50th anniversary of the CMA Awards, to attend game seven in Cleveland. He did not forget about the awards however as he sported a CMA Awards 50 hat while at the game.

Their 2016 World Series victory marked the first time the Cubs have been on top of the baseball world since 1908. After trailing in their best of seven series three games to one, the Cubs won three consecutive games, including game seven in which they won 8-7 in extra innings.
