The website Niche has just released their 2017 rankings for the best colleges and universities in the United States. The website also made subsequent lists of rankings, ranking colleges and universities by state.

Niche says that they help students discover the schools and neighborhoods that best fit their needs based on dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews. Taking all of this information, here is how they ranked the top ten colleges and universities in the state of Pennsylvania.

10. Franklin & Marshall College (82nd Nationally)

9. Bryn Mawr College (69th)

8. Penn State (68th)

7. Lafayette College (60th)

6. Bucknell University (58th)

5. Lehigh University (50th)

4. Swarthmore College (38th)

3. Carnegie Mellon University (32nd)

2. Haverford College (31st)

1. University of Pennsylvania (8th)
