Miranda Lambert is expanding her imprint on country music.
Miranda Lambert has been signed to Sony Music Nashville for the past 12 years and now she is getting her own label under the Sony Music Nashville umbrella.
Lambert’s label will be called Vanner Records and will have the singer’s sixth studio album, The Weight of These Wings, serve as its first release.
“Miranda as an artist represents everything we want to be as a record company and her energy and vision will help drive us forward as well” said the chairman and CEO of Sony Music Nashville Randy Goodman in a press release.
The Weight of These Wings, which will feature Lambert’s hit single “Vice,” will be released on November 18.
