The Pennsylvania SPCA is ready to celebrate Halloween with a family friendly event.

On Saturday, October 29, the Pennsylvania SPCA will host a family friendly event to help promote the adoption of all cats and dogs. The event will include animal-themed educational activities, craft making for the shelter animals, a scavenger hunt with prizes, a story time and Halloween treats and snacks. The event will also be free and open to the public.

This event will take place at the organization’s Erie Avenue headquarters from 12 – 2 p.m.

A promotion for discounted adoptions will also be held at all three of the PSCPA locations (Erie Avenue, Fishtown and Danville) from October 29 – 31 from 12 – 6 p.m. Here all adoption fees on cats and dogs will be discounted 10 – 50 percent.
