How does an artist celebrate making history? By playing a free show of course!
Country legend Garth Brooks announced on Monday that later this month he will play a free show in his adopted home of Nashville, Tennessee. The free show will be a special “thank you” for Brooks’ fans who helped him make history by becoming the first artist to ever have seven albums receive diamond certification (10,000,000 copies sold).
“I can’ thank Tennessee enough for taking me in as if I was one of their own and allowing me to chase a dream.” Brooks said while making the announcement. “I couldn’t be more proud to bring this back to the home of country music.”
Brooks told Taste of Country that fans can expect a show unlike any other.
The show will take place on October 24 at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.
