Keith Urban Lets Fan Play Guitar Onstage

By: Greg Sacidor

Life is all about taking risks and that is exactly what both Keith Urban and one of his fans did this past weekend.

During a show last Saturday in Gilford, New Hampshire, Keith Urban noticed a a sign that read “It’s my boyfriend’s birthday.” After stopping the show to acknowledge the sign, Urban found out the the young man, whose girlfriend was holding the sign, just wanted to play guitar for him. So, the Ripcord artist took the risk and invited the young man up onto the stage to play.

Literally handing him the guitar off of his back, Urban and the young man then jammed out to Urban’s song “Good Thing,” off of his 2013 album Fuse.

Following the show, Urban took to his Facebook account to give a “massive shout out of awesomeness” to the young man. Urban told the fan that he killed it and played his rear end off, before thanking everyone else who was in attendance.
